The 1975's frontman Matty Healy gave a heartwarming acknowledgment to Lewis Capaldi during the band's performance at London's Finsbury Park on Sunday.

Taylor Swift's ex took a moment in-between songs to express his gratitude for the 26-year-old singer.

At Glastonbury this month, due to the effect of his Tourette's, it was necessary for the Scottish singer-songwriter to withdraw from touring.

On the very same day that he declared his decision to cancel his concerts, Matty received a message from Lewis asking how he was doing.

The "Somebody Else" hitmaker told the crowd, per the Irish Examiner, "I want to send my sincerest thoughts to Lewis Capaldi who is a good friend of mine. Who on the day when he had to cancel his tour, checked in on me? Just think about that."

He went on to say, "And it's also a reflection on how hard being a solo artist is as I would not be doing this show if I didn't have these amazing men and women behind me."

This comes after a statement posted on Lews Capaldi's Instagram where he told his millions of followers that he has made the difficult decision to take a break from touring for now to prioritize his health. He stated that this was "the most difficult decision of my life."

At Glastonbury last week, the audience showed their support for the Scottish musician who had a difficult time getting through his set.

As the crowd roared, Lewis stepped on stage for a performance of his chart-topping hit. He was noticeably having difficulty with his singing and appeared to be dealing with jerking movements.

Despite this, he kept going - and in an incredibly touching moment, every single person in the audience sang along with him to help him finish.

But before taking the stage at the English music festival, he canceled three weeks of upcoming performances due to needing rest and recuperation for his mental and physical health.

His post further said, "The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write, but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future."

In September 2022, Lewis revealed that he had been diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome. The songwriter has been outspoken about his struggles with anxiety and the impact this has had on his life.
