Throughout the past ten years, siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence, popularly known for their group name Disclosure, have been a staple in the electronic music scene.

The pair was popular for their big collaboration such as "Latch" with Sam Smith, "Magnets" with Lorde, "Superego" with NAO, and many more.

According to Uproxx, Disclosure only has three studio albums in their discography—"Energy," "Caracal," and "Settle"—but despite only having a few projects under their belt, their tracks still managed to take over the world as it constantly hit the Billboard charts.

This year, the brothers are ready to give fans a treat and they promised that it would sound different from their previous releases.

Disclosure New Album 2023: 'Alchemy' Coming Out This July

On July 12, 2023, Disclosure took to their official Instagram account to share the official album art and release date of their new album titled "Alchemy."

The artwork features a painting of the two brothers being surrounded by colorful beams with vines of greenery behind it.

In addition, several illustrations of their famous Disclosure logo can also be seen in the back.

Fans won't have to wait that long as the album will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple music starting this Friday, July 14, 2023.

"We love you all & thank you for the years of support. We're just getting started," they wrote in the caption.

The record will sound different from their previous releases as Guy said in a press release that the project is "a celebration of us feeling liberated right now."

The reason why they feel free is because this is their first project ever without a major record label, meaning they could do whatever they want and be creative with the sound.

Throughout their discography, the band was signed with a big music company (Interscope, Cherrytree, and more).

However, they later became independent as they established their own record label called Apollo Records, in collaboration with AWAL.
