Drake surprised his fans by bringing out J. Cole on his "It's All a Blur" tour stop in Montreal, and to top it all off, he also asked to be featured on the producer's next album.

In front of thousands of fans, the "Jimmy Cooks" rapper asked J. Cole if they could have a collaboration in the near future, ""Hopefully, there's an album? Hopefully, there's an album I can actually get on. Maybe I could get on the album?"

It seemed like J. Cole was hesitant at first, perhaps because he did not want to give anything away about his next project, but Drake persisted.

"Can I get on the album? I'ma ask in front of Montreal. 'J. Cole, can we get on your album?'" The rapper asked again as the audience went wild.

Maybe it was part of his plan all along, or he was put on the spot by Drake, J. Cole eventually relented and said, "say less, godd**nit!"

Drake Brings J. Cole to 'It's All a Blur' Tour

Drake was supposed to perform in Montreal for the "It's All a Blur" tour alongside his longtime collaborator and friend 21 Savage, but the latter could not make it.

Instead, the rapper brought J. Cole along, for two shows in a row. Apparently, Drake had it all set up.

"Montreal, I want you to understand something," Drake said after J. Cole relented and agreed to have him on the next album.

"It takes someone that not really only loves the art of this shit but really loves all of you to get on a plane to come here for two nights and represent for Montreal."
