One of the most highly anticipated solo debuts in KPOP dropped late last week, and fans are already scurrying to ensure that Jungkook will reign over the music charts.

However, if fans want him to debut at No.1, the BTS member is up against some fierce competition; because Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and Miley Cyrus have all been comfortably occupying the top spots for several weeks-and even months now.

Jungkook released "Seven," featuring Latto, and it is the song that kicked off the KPOP star's solo career.

According to reports, Jungkook's new song is a very strong contender for the top spot this week, and in fact, in several other music charts, he is already at No. 2, placing second to "Sprinter" by Dave/Central Cee.

Jungkook Eyes Music Charts Truimph With 'Seven'

While Jungkook's "Seven" is nowhere near the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of July 15, the new song has topped the new music poll with nearly 96% of the vote.

That means "Seven" beat Eilish's new song for the "Barbie" movie, "What Was I Made For?", Troye Sivan's "Rush," Post Malone's "Overdrive," Lil Tjay's "222," and more.

As for the highly coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart, Rodrigo's "Vampire" is still at No. 1, after beating Wallen's weeks-long reign with "Last Night." At No. 3 is Luke Combs' "Fast Car," followed by "Calm Down" by Rema and Selena Gomez.

At 5th place is Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," which has not strayed from the chart since its release earlier this year; "All My Life" by Lil Durk featuring J. Cole; "Cruel Summer" by Swift; "Fukumean" by Gunna; "Karma" by Swift featuring Ice Spice; and finally at 10th is "Favorite Song" by Toosii.
