Calling all theater fans! The LGBTQIA+ production of "The Wizard of Oz" derived from the original 1939 movie is coming to New York and it will star one of the beloved stars of the reality TV competition series "RuPaul's Drag Race."

According to Playbill, Ross McCorkell, popularly known for their stage name Rosé will take on the role of Aunt Em and Glinda in the production of "The Wizard of Oz."

The show was created by Zi Alikhan and it will run from August 30 to October 1 in Rochester, New York at the Geva Theatre.

Rosé took to their official Instagram account to share the news. In the caption, they wrote, "The good witch. This September at Geva Theatre! P.S. Ariana Grande, Frankie Grande, now I share roles with BOTH of you lmao."

It appears that the drag performer, who made it to the final four of "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 13, is busy with their career as they are also part of the show's "Werq the World" tour featuring previous contestants from the Emmy Award-winning program.

'The Wizard of Oz' LGBTQIA+ Production Cast

Aside from Rosé, other actors involved in the LGBTQIA+ production of "The Wizard of Oz" include Savy Jackson, who will take on the role of Dorothy Gale, Jennifer Sánchez as Elmira Gulch and The Wicked Witch of the West.

Easton Michaels will be the Hunk and Scarecrow, Barnaby Reiter would be the Tin Man and Hickory, Pauli Pontrelli will be Zeke and Cowardly Lion.

On the other hand, Kathel Louis Griffin would be Uncle Henry and Guard, and Thomas Warfield as Professor marvel and Wizard of Oz.

Other cast members involved in the production are J. Jake Thomas, Jordan Alexander, Emma Theriot, Faye Telmaco-Beane, Abbie C. Morgan, Renee Haley, Kelsey Madison, and many more.

'The Wizard of Oz' LGBTQIA+ Production Music

For those who are curious who would be involved in the more technical side of the production like music and dancing, choreography will be by Phil Colgan.

On the other hand, Anessa Marie will serve as the music director, while scenic design would be by Theron Wineinger and Mark Wendland.

Costume designer is Lux Haac, while light design is by Cha See. Other production members are Nicholas Hussong for projection design, Emma Wiseman for puppetry design, Brittany Hartman for wig and makeup design, Jennio Werney for dramaturgy.

Lastly, Talia Krispel and Julia Bregy would be the production stage manager and the assistant stage manager respectively.
