Beyoncé is bringing her highly anticipated "Renaissance" tour to Santa Clara, and the city wants to make sure that Queen Bey will enjoy every minute of her stay.
According to reports, Santa Clara has named the "Single Ladies" singer an honorary mayor and will be bestowing her the key to the city as she brings her tour to Levi's Stadium.
"The city of Santa Clara is excited about Beyoncé's upcoming visit to the world-renowned Levi's Stadium," said Michelle Templeton, a spokesperson for the city of Santa Clara. "Her concerts will certainly bring a great deal of energy and excitement."
As per People magazine, the last time the city bestowed such recognition to a performing and touring artist was back in July when Taylor Swift brought her "The Eras" tour to Santa Clara.
Aside from naming her an honorary mayor, the city was renamed to "Swiftie Clara" for the two-day duration of the singer's stay in the city for the back-to-back shows on July 29 and 29.

Cities in the United States are definitely excited to host Beyoncé and her team especially because the singer always manages to draw in a large audience from all over the country-as well as the world.
According to the Financial Post, the "Alien Superstar" singer has already contributed to the local economies of cities in the country since she went on tour this year.
The "Renaissance" tour as well as Swift's "The Eras" tour and the "Barbie" movie are all credited for a growth about $8.5 million in the US economy in the third quarter of the year.

Moreover, reports also say that Beyoncé has surpassed Swift for the highest-grossing concert in the MetLife Stadium.
Chart Data revealed that the singer earned over $16.5 million for each night she performed at the iconic stadium.
Reports estimated that Beyoncé's "Renaissance" tour would gross between $250 million and $2.4 billion from ticket sales by September.
Local businesses ae glad to have the singer in their city, as it always draws in tourists. Hotels are fully booked meanwhile restaurants and cafes brimming with customers.
As of this writing, Santa Clara is the only city to have bestowed Beyoncé the honorary Mayor title as well as the key to the city.
