David Beckham commented on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's rumored romance as they wished the best for them.

Kelce and Swift finally connected after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's failed attempt to give her his number when he attended one of her "The Eras" tour stops. The "Lover" singer has since watched him play twice in Kansas City and New Jersey.

Amid signs that they are already dating, sources clarified that the pair are still getting to know each other.

David Beckham Says Taylor Swift Deserves to Be Happy

In an exclusive interview with People during the premiere of the four-part Netflix documentary, "Beckham," the soccer legend shared his thoughts about Kelce and Swift's romance and noted that there has been a media frenzy surrounding them.

"Taylor is an amazing talent and she's an amazing person, and she deserves to be happy," Beckham said. "Whatever she does and whoever she's with, as long as she's happy, that's the most important thing."

He then gave advice as he, himself, has an athlete-singer relationship after he dated and wed former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham.

According to the 48-year-old soccer legend, it is the same for them as a married couple who have been together for 26 years. He said that despite their businesses and being busy with their kids, they always make time for each other.

Beckham also noted that he and his wife respect each other, strengthening their marriage even more.

Travis Kelce Thanks His and Taylor Swift's "Bridges"

In an episode of "Calm Down with Erin and Charissa" podcast, Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson asked Swift to date Kelce and "try" their fantastic friend.

"This is one Taylor, I know we're not the best of friends, we're not even friends, but I consider you one," Andrews added. "Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America."

Kelce replied to a clip posted on Instagram and thanked them for playing a role in helping him to make the catch.

The NFL star first showed his interest in the "Lavender Haze" singer in July and soon attended the "Eras" tour in Kansas City, Mo.
