Taylor Swift just released "1989 (Taylor's Version)" and it has garnered mixed reviews from netizens, with some loving every single song off the album, and others coming for Jack Antonoff.

According to The Swift Society, a fan-run account on X (formerly known as Twitter), Antonoff produced all five vault tracks from the album: "'Slut!'," "Suburban Legends," "Now That We Don't Talk," "Say Don't Go," and "Is It Over Now?"

However, fans did not receive the vault tracks too well, as many complained that the songs sounded too much like it could be something off Swift's "Midnights" album.

"He needs to take his hands off her songs because all from the vaults sound like 'Midnights.'"

"Am I the only one who thinks the vault tracks sound more like midnights? just me? Ok."

"Someone fire this man I'm begging," another added.

"He was great maybe even amazing in this rerecording trust me and I'm a Jack shooter I would say if he fucked up."

"And you can tell. He even recycled Labyrinth on one of the vault songs."

Taylor Swift's Fans Worry Jack Antonoff Might Ruin Another Album

While the "Anti-Hero" singer and Antonoff have collaborated on several of Swift's albums thus far, some think that he should lay low for a while and stop working with the singer in the meantime.

Some fans argue that he might be the reason why some of re-recorded songs from "1989 (Taylor's Version)" were not as good as the 2014 versions.

"Really thought she had a big single prepared for '1989' TV...like this rollout is so damn underwhelming. And the worst part is that TS11 won't sound any different from those Vault tracks if Jack's still in command," one wrote.

"Genuinely hope not or we would need to start the lashings like we did for 'ME!' thus helping her pivot to folk-more. We can't let Mr Recycler ruin the most anticipated album of the century," another added.

Taylor Swift 'Tired' Of Re-recording?

Swift and Antonoff have shown time and time again that they have managed to produce chart-topping hits like "Cruel Summer" and "Anti-Hero."

According to reports, the pair even celebrated with "Cruel Summer" which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart recently.

Some fans even alleged that the producer slash musician is not the problem, but Swift is.

"She's not passionate anymore. 'Fearless' TV was the only improvement over the OG," one wrote.

"I'm a hardcore stan and I feel the same way. It's been quantity over quality with her lately," another replied.

"I honestly think she is tired of remaking and promoting older stuff. That is why she is gonna release all of the rerecords by March 2024 and a new album in 2024 end."
