Taylor Swift is currently in South America to perform at her series of concerts for "The Eras Tour" and during one moment of her show, her heel unfortunately broke and a fan was able to catch it and decided to sell it online for a good cause.

According to Taste of Country, the musician took the stage of her concert in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. During the first set of songs, she paused for a bit, pulled off the broken heel of her custom Christian Louboutin boots, and decided to throw it into the concertgoers.

One lucky fan named Felipe Conrado, who was in the front row as he had VIP tickets for all of her shows in Brazil, was able to catch the bedazzled heel.

Although he's a massive fan of Taylor Swift and wanted to keep the heel to himself as a remembrance, he decided to use it for a good cause.

Per the outlet, the fan has a cousin named Ângela Conrado who is battling cancer, so he decided to sell it online in order to help with the women's treatments.

"As many have been following, we are in a large mobilization to help fund my cousin's cancer treatment," he wrote on social media.

More information about Ângela's condition can be seen on her fundraising page wherein it was detailed taht she has melanoma which is a type of skin cancer. The disease was discovered by medical professionals after a mole from her right arm was discovered through biopsy.

She will need 12 immunotherapy sessions with an expensive drug which costs over $700 USD every month.

As of this writing, the woman was able to raise more than $4,400 USD for her treatment.

Taylor Swift South American Tour 2023

Taylor Swift still has a last show for her South American tour as she's set to perform at the Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 26, 2023. Her special guest would be Sabrina Carpenter.

It appears that the musician will take a break this holiday season as her next international tour date would be in February at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
