Randy Jackson sparked concerns with his extreme weight loss two decades after he underwent a gastric bypass surgery.

Following the weight loss operation, Jackson lost around 114 pounds and has maintained it over the past few years. However, he recently worried fans when he showed up looking "thinner than ever."

Jackson. 67, participated in the Fox game show "Name That Tune" celebrity edition during which he ignited concerns due to his concerning appearance.

The episode featured close-up shots of his face and hands, which became the subject of the viewers' tweets.

On X, fans and viewers shared their growing worries after seeing the session musician.

Randy Jackson's Weight Loss Journey

Jackson gave his most recent comment on his weight loss journey during his interview with People, and he shared how he maintained his physique two decades after the operation.

"If I really feel like I need to have a piece of candy, I have a small piece so that in my mind, I'm not saying, 'No, no, no,'" the record executive, who has $50 million net worth, said. "The more you deny yourself, the more you're going to go on a bender and have 18 candy bars without stopping at some point."

Jackson's Type 2 diabetes diagnosis led him to undergo gastric bypass surgery and say goodbye to his then-350-pound weight His health journey also inspired him to create Unify Health Labs in 2019.

He also went through ups and downs over the past years, detailing in his 2008 book "Body With Soul" how he struggled with diabetes.

"It's a curse to be saddled with a disease that's life-threatening and that you can't completely get rid of, though you can certainly manage it," he continued. "But it's a blessing to get that huge wake-up call."

After a trip to the ER, Jackson reportedly decided to walk toward better health.
