Lindsay Lohan earned a good sum of money for her brief appearance in the upcoming "Mean Girls" revival. It's interesting to find out the net worth of the singer and actress as of the moment.

According to Variety, the 37-year-old actress, who gained notoriety for her portrayal of rookie Cady Heron in the 2004 cult movie, received about $500,000 for a half-day's labor.

In a moment that paralleled the plot of her character in the original movie, Lohan made a cameo in the new musical adaption during a math competition.

Lohan honors the character's time spent with the "Mathletes" at North Shore High School even though she does not play the same role again.

It follows a report that said Lohan was "very upset" with a joke in the upcoming version about a "fire crotch." Lindsay's cameo alludes to the original film's mathletes scene.

In the original, on the eve of the Spring Fling, Cady and her teammates compete against a rival high school in an academic decathlon. However, Lohan is currently in charge of the competition from a stage podium rather than taking part in it.

While kids, such as Cady (portrayed by Angourie Rice), give quick replies, Lohan cracks jokes about how "familiar" the situation feels.

During the New York premiere last week, her unexpected appearance was met with thunderous acclaim, as reported by Variety.

Tina Fey, the creative force behind the Mean Girls universe, had previously ruled out the chance of appearances by the original ensemble.

She said that Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert were simply too "busy" to participate in an interview with the New York Times.

Lohan visited the star-studded New York City premiere of the "Mean Girls" musical film just a few days before her participation was officially revealed.

On the red carpet, she was seen walking alongside Fey, who co-wrote and co-starred with Lohan in the 2004 movie. Almost two decades after the first Mean Girls movie came out, the actresses reconnected with beaming smiles on their faces and rushed in for a brief hug.

Before entering the main event, Lindsay and Tina stopped for a few special pictures together at the star-studded screening.

On the pink carpet, the stunning redhead talked candidly about Mean Girls with Entertainment Tonight, exclaiming that she feels blessed and happy that the movie has stood the test of time.

Fey created the screenplay for the 2024 version much like she did for the original, and she will play Ms. Norbury again. The next film was produced by Fey and Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live. Renee Rapp, who appeared in the 2018 Broadway musical, will play Regina George, the notorious queen bee, again in the musical comedy of 2024.

The "Plastics," a group of three teenage girls who control North Shore High School, are Renee, Avantika Vandanapu, and Bebe Wood.

They choose to adopt Cady Heron, a new student, under their very strict tutelage (played by Angourie Rice). In addition, Auliʁi Cravalho, Busy Philipps, Jenna Fischer, and Jon Hamm star in the movie.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Lindsay made roughly $28 million each movie at her extremely high rate of pay when she was one of Hollywood's most sought-after actors.

LiLo was earning a ton of money every movie even before she became an A-list star. Mean Girls and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen brought in $1 million apiece, while Freaky Friday brought in $550,000. What she earned now for a cameo is mind-boggling, to say the least.
