Aside from being known as the frontman of the band Staind, Aaron Lewis is also a solo artist, but his independent work is completely different from the songs he released under a group as he's more political.
More recently, he revealed in an interview that his record label under his solo career has a completely different political belief than him, but regardless, both parties still reach a compromise and they still make it work; how did they do it?
According to Loudwire, Lewis is under Big Machine Records, a label owned by Universal Music. The CEO and president of the company is Scott Borchetta.
Big Machine Records is popularly known for signing Taylor Swift.
Aaron Lewis Almost Gets Canceled Because of His Political Beliefs
Lewis recently appeared in an episode of "The Devin Nunes Podcast" where he spoke about his number one song back in 2021.
The track is "Am I the Only One" which is a conservative anthem that revolves around his political beliefs.
Even though it had a massive success nearly three years ago, there were people on social media who wanted him to get canceled because of the message of the track.

Back when he received so much hate and criticism from online users, Big Machine Records still stood by him despite Borchetta having a different political belief.
"There was an all-out call for my cancelation when I put out 'Am I The Only One,'" he said.

He further explained that he's "very blessed" because even though Scott Borchetta doesn't agree with the message of his song at all, he still backed him up.
"Even though my label president Scott Borchetta does not agree with us at all, he believes in the freedom of speech and the freedom of expression, and he's a president of a record label - that is creativity, that's freedom of expression," he said. (via Loudwire)
Lewis added that as much as Borchetta didn't believe in the message that he wanted to spread, he still stood behind him and wouldn't want him to be canceled in any way because he has been a supporter of his right to be able to share what he believes in through music.
