Aaron Lewis has a few shows left before his solo tour ends this December, but he was forced to cancel all of his concerts because he was advised to take a break; what happened?

According to Loudwire, the country musician was supposed to wrap up his "American Patriot Acoustic Tour" across the United States in a few weeks, but his doctors ordered him to undergo a mandatory vocal rest.

"After recording a new Staind album, a new solo album and playing 150-plus shows this year, my doctors have insisted I take this month off to give my voice some much needed rest before I do damage to my cords," he said in an announcement on social media.

He added that it "kills" to say it but he had to listen to those who are knowledgeable in the medical field.

Regardless, he wanted to wish his fans a great holiday season and he couldn't wait to see and perform for them again in 2024.

All purchased tickets will still be honored on the new dates.
