When Coco Rocha first began modeling back in 2004, models were basically seen and rarely heard. They were props for clothing and the media often gave the impression that the had little of value to actually say. Rocha was one of a newer crop of cat-walkers that proved they could have a career on their own terms. For Rocha that has meant being very selective about the kind of shoots that she was willing to do. She has notoriously refused to do any kind of nudity or model swimsuits or lingerie, something she has chalked up to her beliefs as a Jehovah's Witness.
