Normally one looks towards the United States for some of the world's most soulful acts, but recently the music industry has turned its gaze across the pond towards the UK for some of the best new talented breed of acts combining soul with various elements of pop, house and hip-hop. One of those artists leading the way is UK electronic band Rudimental. We recently had the chance to catch up with the group for an interview to discuss their album and who they decided to collaborate with on the project. -
Steely Dan Announce West Coast Tour Around Coachella [SCHEDULE]
One of the biggest surprises from this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival was the announcement of jazz rock legends Steely Dan as one of the peformers, and in support of their appearances at the festival the band has announced a string of West Coast tour dates for April, "Ultimate Classic Rock" has reported. Dubbed the "Rockabye Gollie Angel" tour, these dates kick off with two performances in Santa Rosa, California, April 7 and 8, and conclude April 18 in San Diego. Other than a stop in Las Vegas April 11, all dates on the tour are in California.
