What on earth was Peter Carroll thinking last night when, instead of putting faith in arguably the best running back in football right now, Marshawn Lynch, he instructed that the Seattle Seahawks instead pass the ball. That intercepted pass, just one yard away from winning Super Bowl XLIX, will go down in history as one of the worst plays ever. At least Carroll has owned that the play call was entirely his idea, so ultimately he is the one responsible for handing the New England Patriots their fourth Super Bowl victory under coach Bill Belichick. But overall, the ratings soared. -
