A report from a French publication L'Equipe alleged that the striker would leave the MLS and return to the Barclays Premier League as part of the Chelsea FC coaching staff. Considering he's a legend to Blues fans, excitement around the speculation erupted earlier this week. Drogba has denied the rumors, but left the situation pretty vague in his tweet. -
Didier Drogba Returns to Chelsea on Coaching Staff?
While this isn't exactly the return to the Premier League that Chelsea FC fans were hoping for, legendary striker Didier Drogba has allegedly announced his retirement from professional football in order to join his former club's coaching staff under interim manager Guus Hiddink. After an embarrassing start to the 2015/2016 season, taking on Drogba in a coaching position could be the recipe for success for the defending champions.
