Die Antwoord Share 'Ugly Boy' Video with Marilyn Manson, Flea, Jack Black [WATCH]
South African hip-hop duo Die Antwoord has shared the music video for their song "Ugly Boy," which you can check out below. The video, directed by Die Antwoord member Ninja, features a couple cameo appearances from other musicians — who are apparently "ugly boys" — including Marilyn Manson and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other cameo appearances in the video include actor Jack Black and models Cara Delevingne and Dita Von Teese. Electronic artist Aphex Twin, whose song "Ageipolis" is sampled in the track, has been rumored by some sites as appearing in the video, though "Pitchfork" notes that he does not actually appear. As can be expected of the famously weird Die Antwoord, the music video for "Ugly Boy" is pretty weird stuff, with plenty of blood, violence and other unsettling/offensive images, including a guy in blackface wearing a sweatshirt that reads, "Hi, My Name is God." -
Johnny Depp, Marilyn Manson Play 'Beautiful People' at Halloween Show [WATCH]
Marilyn Manson gave fans a nice Halloween treat at their show in Los Angeles Friday, Oct. 31, when the singer brought out actor/occasional rocker Johnny Depp and Die Antwood's Ninja for an encore performance of "The Beautiful People." The crowd erupted for Depp after Manson's introduction, but the shock rocker was not pleased with the praise for Ninja. The crew ripped into Manson's huge hit from 1996's "Antichrist Superstar" as the Die Antwood member continually stage dived into the heap of people piled into The Roxy. The fan-shot footage below is from a member of the audience close to the stage, so you get a good view of all the players. Check out the heavy cut below via "Consequence of Sound." -
