One of the biggest characters in all of comic books is Apocalypse, the apparent "first mutant" that was brought to life in the Marvel Comics series, X-Men. Considering the success and draw of the popular series of movies based around these characters, taking on Apocalypse was inevitable. As a follow up to 2014's Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns in 2016 with X-Men: Apocalypse, showing us all what the end of the world looks like to these super-powered heroes. X-Men: Apocalypse, the highly anticipated sequel to Bryan Singer's Days of Future Past, has a release date set for May 27, 2016, but we haven't seen a trailer for the movie yet - unless you attended the San Diego Comic-Con this year or watched the leaked footage from the panel. This week however, co-writer Simon Kinberg announced that the first trailer for the film will accompany the highly anticipated Dec. 18 theater premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will also feature the first footage of Captain America: Civil War. -
