Taylor Swift, according to Donald Trump, has "no way" endorsed Joe Biden, he insisted. He said she never would, not just because she and him have no beef with each other - but because Swift actually owes him.

Trump's assertion that Swift would choose him over Biden begs the question, given Swift's 2020 endorsement of Biden and her consistent criticism of the former president.

Trump asserted that she would not be "disloyal" because he "made her so much money," a reference to his signature on copyright reform legislation that streamlined the payment process for music rights-holders when their tracks are streamed on streaming platforms.

"I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists," Trump posted to Truth Social on Sunday.

"Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor, and never will. There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money."

Given Swift's decision to speak out against him and other Republicans during his administration, she broke her career-long political seclusion, which further undermines the absurdity of Trump's claim.

Swift stated in a 2019 Elle article, "Invoking racism and provoking fear through thinly veiled messaging is not what I want from our leaders, and I realized that it actually is my responsibility to use my influence against that disgusting rhetoric." She criticized Trump later that year and identifies as "pro-choice."

"We're a democracy - at least, we're supposed to be - where you're allowed to disagree, dissent, debate. I really think that [Trump] thinks this is an autocracy," she told The Guardian.

Swift tweeted prior to the 2020 election that Trump "fully understood that we do not wish to have him as our president." Trump reportedly threatened Swift with a "holy war" in private, Rolling Stone reported last month, particularly if she supports the Democrats in 2024.

According to associates, the former president asserts that he is "more popular" than Swift and that her followers are less devoted. Swift has garnered even more attention than usual recently by attending NFL games in support of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is a Super Bowl participant this year.

The White House has deemed altruistic right-wing conspiracy theories propagated by Fox News and alt-right influencers "unhinged."

Conspiracy theories assert that the NFL and Democrats manipulated the postseason in order to propel the Chiefs (and, by extension, Kelce and Swift) to the Super Bowl in order to generate publicity for the two individuals prior to their purported future Biden endorsement. Swift has neither endorsed nor commented on the impending election or candidates.

Kelce became one of the first white players to kneel during the national anthem in 2017 in support of Black Lives Matter, despite the fact that he has not previously endorsed a political party or candidate.

Kelce is additionally contracted to Pfizer for $20 million to promote the Covid-19 vaccine. On Sunday, Trump made reference to Kelce in his post, claiming the athlete probably does not like him.
