Ahead of its first live performance at FIFA World Cup 2026 opening festivities, "Goals" is drawing renewed attention as one of the flagship tracks from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album — a three-way collaboration between BLACKPINK's LISA, Brazilian superstar Anitta, and Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema. The trio is scheduled to perform the track at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 12, marking the song's live debut on one of sport's biggest stages.

"Goals" was built around the structure of this year's tri-nation tournament. LISA delivers the opening verse with a sharp rap flow, Anitta commands the center in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and Rema closes with a swaggering Afrobeats verse. Produced by Grammy winner Cirkut and Brazilian duo Tropkillaz, the record fuses Latin pop, K-pop, and Afrobeats without sounding like a committee decision — three genres, one track, no seams.

"Three continents, one track — bringing all our sounds together like this is a big moment for music on the world stage." — Rema

The choice of collaborators reflects a deliberate strategy. K-pop, Latin pop, and Afrobeats are the three genres that have driven the largest share of global streaming growth over the past five years — and between them, LISA, Anitta, and Rema cover Asia, Latin America, and Africa. "Being a part of the Official FIFA World Cup Album this year has been so exciting," LISA said in a statement. The accompanying music video, directed by Chris Villa, sets the trio inside a high-energy football cage intercut with street freestyle sequences.

The Los Angeles event will conclude a three-part opening celebration spanning Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles — the first time in World Cup history that FIFA has staged separate opening ceremonies across multiple host nations.

For LISA, the June 12 booking underscores how far her solo career has expanded beyond the K-pop ecosystem. Since leaving BLACKPINK, she has performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2024 and positioned herself as one of the most globally booked solo artists in any genre. Tomorrow night's performance will place her in front of one of the largest audiences of her solo career.
