Matthew Koma Gets a Vasectomy While Hilary Duff is Pregnant With Their 3rd Child

Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma are taking family planning seriously, as the latter recently revealed that he got a vasectomy.at the same time Duff is pregnant with the couple's third baby together (her fourth pregnancy overall).

The musician took to his official Instagram account to share his vasectomy journey. On Monday, he shared a photo of himself wearing a hospital gown. In the caption, he told his followers that he had just taken a valium before the operation.

The singer, known for his songs "Spectrum" and "Find You," also recorded a conversation with his doctor in which he joked around, "Have you ever worked on something this small before?"

His wife laughed in the background as the doctor said it wasn't "small."

In the final update about his procedure, Koma shared a photo of himself only wearing underwear and what appeared to be gauze where the operation took place.

"10/10 would recommend," he wrote in the caption. (via Page Six)

Duff has been supportive of her husband's decision as she was the one who drove him to the hospital, as seen in a photo.

Hilary Duff Opens up About Motherhood

In an interview with Shape last year, Duff opened up about being a mother to her children, saying it's "hard," but also an "endlessly rewarding" job.

In the conversation, she mentioned that she loves watching her kids form into their own individual, unique selves and that she loves her house being loud.

"I love [parenting] with my husband. I love feeling like hugs and cuddles can make everything better," she added. (via InStyle)

Duff further noted that she likes the pressure of not knowing how the day will turn out, and they will eventually make it through the day.

According to Elle, Koma and Duff met in 2015 when the latter enlisted her soon-to-be-husband to help work on her album Breathe In. Breathe Out.

Duff had been separated from her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, but her relationship with Koma later took off as they made their romance official on their first red-carpet walk as a couple at a pre-SAG Awards party.

They dated on and off for a while until they decided to settle down together.

The couple share two daughters in addition to the baby on the way. Duff is also mom to her eldest child, Luca, whom she co-parents with her ex-husband.
