James Taylor celebrated his 76th birthday this year, and the singer will not slow down anytime soon as he's set to embark on a new tour that will span across the United States over the next few months; check out the details below.

According to the Associated Press, the singer and his All-Star Band will kick off their series of concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, on May 29, 2024, before visiting major cities like St. Louis, Highland Parl, Morrison, Salt Lake City, Pennsylvania, Saratoga Springs, and many more.

His last show will be on September 15, 2024, at the Wolf Trap Filene Center in Vienna, VA.

The singer and his group will travel to over 24 cities and perform at 31 concerts in five months. He also has several tour dates in other countries, such as Australia, the Philippines, New Zealand, and more.

James Taylor Gets Motivated by Audiences

In the interview with the outlet, the singer opened up about keeping his shows interesting. One thing that motivates him to continue what he does is the audience that always supports and watches him.

"The audience, always. The event itself has never failed to supply the motivation and the energy that is required. You know, it's very compelling to go a great distance and to find a crowd of people that have bought tickets to come see me and the band play again," he said.

At his age, Taylor needs to look out for his health. To prevent him from being exhausted from performing, he said in the interview that he doesn't do many shows in a row as he needs a day off unless he has several concerts in the same town or city.

Regardless, there are still times that he gets tired of what he does as he admitted: "I definitely burned myself out a few times."

James Taylor New Album Coming Soon?

It's been four years since James Taylor last released an album, American Standard, which came out in 2020. However, it seems like the singer still plans to release a new one. He hinted that he's "writing a little bit," but he never shared further details.
