In addition, the world has known the pop star for her signature red lipstick, which she wears on different occasions, whether at a concert or supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce at his games.
More recently, celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman revealed that the mega-pop singer's mom, Andrea Swift, was initially unfriendly to the singer wearing red lipstick.
The famed makeup artist recently spoke with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush for an interview Today with Hoda and Jenna, during which she recalled working with Swift in 2009.
At the time, Westman said she was the one who put the iconic red lipstick to the "Style" hitmaker when she graced the cover of Allure Magazine.
She opted to use red lipstick because she had never seen Swift rock a red lip before.

Later in the interview, she recalled Taylor Swift's mom's reaction behind the scenes when she was doing the singer's makeup.
"...Her mom, if I'm allowed to say this, was like, 'Well, Taylor doesn't wear red.' And I was like, 'Please, can I just try?'" she said. (via People Magazine)

It seemed like the red lipstick worked in the singer's favor as it became synonymous with her style, as Westman added, "Look at her now."
What Brand of Red Lipstick Does Taylor Swift Use?
In January 2024, Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce made headlines when they shared a passionate kiss on the field when the football player led his team to victory.
Aside from their sweet moment, the pop star also went viral for a different reason: Many noticed that her iconic red lipstick didn't smudge at all.
"Serious question about Taylor Swift's lipstick AGAIN. She just enjoyed a long smooch with Travis Kelce on camera, and her lipstick did not smudge or show up on his lips. What gives?" one fan wrote on social media, as reported by Page Six.
Her makeup artist, Lorrie Turk, has yet to share the brand of lipstick that Swift used, but there are other options that the singer has said to have worn in the past, like the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo, Covergirl Exhibitionist Lipstick in Hot, and many more.
