Dua Lipa is one month away from the release of her next album, Radical Optimism. Before the star's third LP releases, fans are eagerly awaiting the release another single, "Illusion," which drops on April 11.

Dua took to Instagram to announce the new single, posting the song's cover art and writing "ILLUSION 11TH APRIL ~ YOU READY?"

On the single's cover art, Dua is posed with a casual head tilt. The British-Albanian pop star sports a matching white swimsuit with a white coat draped over her shoulders. Her hair is wet, indicating that sheprobably just hopped out of the water, something further supported by the three dripping water emojis in the caption. The word "Illusion" sits vertically to Dua's left, written in a dark blue impact font.

In November, Dua dropped "Houdini," the lead single off of Radical Optimism. The track landed at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single went number 1 in several countries. Her next single "Training Season" reached the 27th spot on the Hot 100.

Now, the "Levitating" GRAMMY-winner returns. She released a teaser for the video on April 3, featuring the viewer's perspective skewed from underwater looking up at Dua as a muted snippet of the track played.  A full-bodied, unmuted snippet was released shortly after.

"Illusion" is an upbeat, dance-y track that calls to mind the disco vibes that have inspired so much of Dua's discography. She sings, "I could do this dance all night/" before later quipping that "It's amusing/You think I'm gonna fall for an illusion." The repeat of "Dance all night," hides underneath her verse, accentuated with occasional punctuations of "Ooh!

"Illusion" is sure to send fans of Dua Lipa straight to the dance floor; the song practically begs for someone to bust a move to its catchy chorus.

Dua also recently posted a video on Instagram where she explained more about Radical Optimism. "Let's take a deep dive shall weee, chapter one," she captioned the video which features Dua in the studio, on music video sets and splashing around in the ocean. In the video, which serves nearly as a mini documentary, Dua muses, "It's the beauty of the chaos, and trying to stay calm through it."

The "Training Season" songstress elaborated that she "Always goes for the most upbeat [songs] to introduce people to the record. I can just keep dancing, and keep people dancing." Given the cheery energy blooming throughout "Illusion," it makes sense why Dua would opt to make the track one of the album's lead singles.

In the comment section of her "Illusion" announcement post, fans detailed their excitement for both the track and Radical Optimism

"This album is going to take over the world I fear," wrote one user. Even iHeartRadio had something to say, commenting "BEEN READY" in all capital letters. Another fan simply wrote "MOTHER."

"Illusion" is set to release on April 11. Radical Optimism will arrive on May 3.
