Before Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift became Tayvis, Kelce was simply another fan pining for the pop star from afar.

This week, Chief's player Kelce and his Philadelphia Eagles-alum brother, Jason, hosted rapper Lil Dicky, née David Burd, on their podcast, New Heights. "Football's funniest family duo" have been hosting the show since September 2022. Jason retired from the NFL in March, shortly after Travis won his third Super Bowl and second in a row.

Speaking to Travis on New Heights, Lil Dicky said that he thought that Swift and Kelce's dating is "the best thing ever."  The rapper continued to compare the pair's coupling to the high school experience, also dubbing the couple "so classic."

"Your most popular pop star, beloved musician, somehow met your most popular, beloved athlete-and they somehow actually fell in love!" exclaimed the "Earth" rapper. He continued to say that anyone hating on the relationship is just a "bitter loser."

Kelce laughed at the rapper's comments. He continued to gush over Swift.

"I don't know how I did it because she was not into sports, so I don't know how the f-- I did it," he said. Lil Dicky reminded Kelce that the footballer used his charm and "called [Swift] out."

Lil Dicky then told any Swifties looking to get into his music to take a look at one of his impressive freestyles on the radio show Sway in the Morning.

The brothers and Lil Dicky also quipped about Kelce's new fanbase of Swifties. Lil Dicky asked the brothers about the influx of Swifties to their podcast. Jason told listeners that "it hasn't changed much for me."

Travis's experience, however, is a bit of a different story.

"I'm having a blast in life, baby. Just flying high, enjoying it all, bringing new lives to the football world and opening the football world up to new things," said Kelce happily.

The NFL saw a surge in female viewership after Kelce and Siwft got together. In February, Al Jazeera reported that, "Among teenage girls, NFL viewership has increased by 53 percent. Among the 18-24 age demographic, there has been an increase of 24 percent." The so-called Swift Bump also saw a 20% increase in sponsorships in the NFL. Kelce himself starred in six ad campaigns in 2022 with an ad spend of a cool $120 million.

Kelce famously "shot his shot" with Swift in July 2023, when Kelce took New Heights and divulged that he had attended an Eras Tour show with the intention of giving her a friendship bracelet-something that's become synonymous with the pop star-with his phone number on it. He didn't end up giving Swift the bracelet, but the two were soon spotted together. In October, the two confirmed their relationship and have continued to make headlines daily.

Most recently, Tayvis were spotted while on a relaxing trip inthe Bahamas. Swift's next album, The Tortured Poets Department, releases April 19.
