Taylor Swift Is out of Travis Kelce's League 'Intellectually': 'It’s Kind of an Unlikely Pairing'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are said to be destined for each other, even though one person thinks the pop icon may outsmart the NFL star.

In an interview with Page Six, Claudia Oshry, the creator of Girl With No Job Instagram and podcast, shared insights on how Swift's intellectual prowess surpasses that of Kelce, truly highlighting the discrepancy in their respective leagues.

"She's so out of his league, especially, like, in an intellectual sense. And I think that's why so many people love it."

Observing the dynamic duo, Claudio can't help but notice the distinct personalities each brings. She called the 14-time Grammy winner a "poet" and the "mind of a generation," while Kelce is described as "silly and goofy."

The podcast host said, "It's kind of an unlikely pairing. It just makes sense. We're obsessed."

Meanwhile, Claudia's sister, Jackie Oshry, finds that the success of the romance between the prominent duo can be attributed to their distinct personalities and unique skills.

"I think they're in separate leagues, which is what makes it so great, because I'm sure some fans of his would be like, 'He's so much greater than her.' And then fans of hers are like, you know, 'There's no matching her.'"

"They can relate on that level of, like, being the greatest."

In romantic relationships, Swift has a track record of being linked with notable individuals, with her past partners all belonging to intellectual arts, unlike Kelce, who embraces a carefree approach to life.

"He's just, like, an American meathead," Claudia quipped.

Jackie agrees that Swift has reached a stage where she doesn't have to be "so serious" constantly.

"I feel like she's at a point in her life where she should just be able to have fun and enjoy the fruits of her labor and be able to, like, just go out to a restaurant with her boyfriend and not, like, worry, 'What does he think about this?' Like, he's not thinking about this! He likes the meal!"

Chuckling, Claudia remarks about the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, "He's not thinking."

Claudia and Jackie have contrasting opinions about choosing between a hypothetical date with Kelce or his older brother, Jason Kelce. In reflecting on her preferences, Claudia prefers a romantic connection with Kelce based on his physical appearance and popularity.

 "I think [Travis Kelce] is more my type physically," she elaborates.

"He's more famous. And if you're going to date a celebrity, you know, you gotta go all the way."
