World-renowned, darling soprano Renee Fleming has announced that her latest upcoming release, Christmas in New York, is now available for pre-order.
On the disc, Fleming collaborates with Broadway sensation Kelli O'Hara along with many other heavyweights.
As reported on Broadway World, Fleming aims at capturing that intangible je ne sais quoi about wintertime in New York City, but more importantly, the famous and ambiguous Christmas culture that descends on the city come December.
Her first-ever Christmas album, the singer believes, "From Rockefeller Center to the holiday windows lining 5th Avenue, the essence of the city at the most wonderful time of year is captured on Christmas in New York."
Sure, the city's landscape changes drastically when the weather gets all too cold to venture out in, and from the massive Christmas tree in Rockerfeller down to the Seaport's always-presenting Christmas on the boardwalk there's few cities that can rival its charm.
