Just days after regaining limited freedom, Fetty Wap is facing a new and very public challenge as he attempts to rebuild his life following federal prison.
The New Jersey rapper, who was released to home confinement earlier this month after serving nearly three years of a six-year sentence for drug trafficking, is now being confronted with claims that he owes more than $200,000 in unpaid child support.
It was Lezhae Zeona, mother of two of his children, who leaked the information that led to the allegations. She posted screenshots from a government child support portal on her social media, which showed the outstanding balance.
Zeona, who shares daughter Zaviera and son Zyheir with the "Trap Queen" artist, used a series of posts to accuse Fetty Wap of failing to support their children financially while prioritizing other expenses. She wrote that she initially resisted placing him on child support, explaining, "I never wanted to put him on child support," but said her position changed after repeated attempts to reach a private agreement failed.
According to Zeona, the situation escalated after the birth of their second child, when she felt he stopped contributing altogether. "I kept telling him ion wanna do this lets come to an agreement and the n***g thought it was a joke," she wrote.
Zeona's posts went beyond financial grievances. She accused Fetty Wap of spending "hundreds and thousands" of dollars on failed business ventures involving other women while neglecting his responsibilities at home.
Mocking one alleged investment, she criticized what she described as a poorly thought-out salon venture, questioning why anyone would open a business in a crowded mall.
She also stressed her independence, writing in capital letters that her children's housing, clothing, food, education and health insurance were provided by her alone. "MY KIDS GOT A ROOF OVER THEY HEAD CAUSE OF ME," she wrote, adding that she managed without public assistance during his incarceration.
Dang Fetty Wap hasn’t even been home a full week and 2 of his BabyMom have went on Instagram ranting about how he doesn’t do enough for his children . Lezhae even went as far as dissing his other BM and their son #FettyWap #Lezhae pic.twitter.com/2TP9iUdCGX

Loyalty, Isolation And One Unexpected Ally
While the child support allegations complicate his return to civilian life, Fetty Wap has been candid about another difficult reality he faced behind bars: feeling largely abandoned by the music industry.
In his first interview since his release, the rapper appeared on The Breakfast Club and reflected on the years he spent incarcerated, describing how many relationships faded once he was no longer free.
"When you behind that wall, everybody show you who they are," he said, according to Rolling Stone. "You want their time now and if they don't feel like doing it, it's done."
One person, however, stood out. Fetty Wap credited 50 Cent as the most consistent source of support throughout his sentence.
"From day one, he reached out like, 'Yo, whatever you need, just holler at me,'" Fetty recalled. He said the G-Unit founder checked in regularly and even offered financial help, asking directly, "Where this money going?"
For Fetty Wap, who was accustomed to being the provider, the reversal was eye-opening. "I'm used to it always being the other way around," he said, adding that 50 Cent was there whenever he needed help.
The support reportedly went beyond money. Fetty Wap said 50 Cent stayed in touch as his release date approached, asking practical questions about logistics and offering blunt advice about his career.
Recalling one conversation, Fetty said 50 Cent told him, "You should've never stopped making music. You should've kept going hard," before adding, "He gon' say what he want to say. He ain't got no filter."
