Frankie Valli has officially stopped his farewell tour and canceled all remaining 2026 concert dates, saying he is stepping away from the road to focus on his health. The 92-year-old singer shared the news on Friday, May 29, through a message posted on Instagram.
"I'm so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health," Valli wrote. "I'm looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes."
According to NME, the announcement brings an early pause to his ongoing farewell run, "The Last Encores Tour," which began in 2023 and was expected to continue through November 2026.
Instead, all remaining shows scheduled for summer through fall have now been canceled. His team also confirmed that earlier postponed dates will not be rescheduled.

Frankie Valli Steps Away From Stage
Valli's representative, Victoria Varela, explained that the decision was made to avoid further delays and uncertainty for fans. She said the goal was to prevent repeated rescheduling and ticket confusion, and instead give the singer time to rest and recover properly.
According to her, Valli is expected to take about six months away from performing, with a possible return to touring in 2027. The "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" singer last performed on February 22 at the Pechanga Resort Casino in California.
Even before this break, concerns about his health had been discussed publicly, especially after viral clips from a 2024 show showed him appearing fatigued on stage. At the time, Valli pushed back on criticism, saying he was still fully committed to performing and loved being on tour.
"I absolutely love what I do," he said previously, adding that no one forced him to stay on stage and that he continued touring because audiences still supported the shows, RollingStone reported.
Fans online have responded with concern and support, wishing him a safe recovery and hoping he returns when ready.
