When Khloé Kardashian first filed for divorce from Lamar Odom more than a year ago, she was hoping for a swift ending to her painful marriage. Instead her husband has yet to even respond to the public filing which means that they are no closer to dissolving their marriage than they were the day that Kardashian filed for divorce. The reality star is now able to move forward looking for a default divorce judgment but she doesn't seem to be very interested in doing so.
According to a report by Radar Online, Odom can't keep things hung up indefinitely and at this point his wife likely would be granted a divorce even without him ever responding to her initial petition, but she doesn't seem to be in any rush to officially end her marriage. The problem is that if their petition lies dormant for too long then it will be completely dismissed by the court. That move could come in as soon as just a few short weeks which means that Kardashian has some serious thinking to do.
Odom has reportedly pushed for a second chance and while Kardashian hasn't exactly seemed like she was looking for a reconciliation, she also hasn't severed those legally binding ties either. On a recent episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Kardashian admitted that if it was up to her she'd still be married to Odom.
