Is Ricky Martin "Living La Vida Loca" no more? According to a new YouTube video, the Latino pop star succumbed to a major car crash over the weekend and passed away. But, as it turns out, Martin is just the latest celebrity to fall victim to a morbid death hoax, and now he's poking fun at the death rumors on his Instagram.

A YouTube video, titled “Ricky Martin dead in tragic accident New Years day Official” was posted on Jan. 3 and features a poorly dubbed police video stating that the 43-year-old singer had passed away on New Year’s Day in a freak car accident in Los Angeles. Though attentive fans of the “Shake Your Bon Bon” singer would note that poor dub and the fact that the supposed L.A. cars have foreign license plates, the clip has gathered over 340,000 views and fans began to mourn Martin.

But, all is fine with the singer, and if he is dead, well heaven looks a lot like Puerto Rico.

Following the death hoax posts, Martin logged onto his social media to mock the death claims, instead showing off his heaven on earth – a beautiful vacation.

“Hello from #heaven” and “#Sunset in #heaven,” he captioned two photos, which clearly show he is alive and well – with a good sense of humor about the morbid rumors!

 Hello from #heaven.
