Chvrches stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to perform 'The Mother We Share" and "Lies" in support of the release of their latest release The Bones of What you Believe.
It was a no frills performance on "The Mother We Share" on a pretty bare stage with the three band members and their instruments. Vocalist Lauren Mayberry moved around a little with subtle dancing, but the overall performance was very simple. "Lies" was a little more upbeat but again the live performance was just about the same as listening to the record, just with some lights thrown in. That's not to say the band didn't sound great. Both songs were executed pretty flawlessly.
Their breakout album, The Bones of What You Believe, was released via Virgin Records back in September. Since then, the band has appeared on Late Night television and was ranked fifth on the BBC's Sound of 2013 list.
