Bill Cosby has not one, but two concerts scheduled today in Boston at the Wilbur Theatre and upon learning that between 200-300 protesters are expected to be outside of the venue, he issued a statement to what's left of his loyal fans. Life has changed a lot for the legendary comedian who has spent the last several months plagued by allegations of rape, sexual abuse and drugging, by a parade of different women. Still, he insists that his career is alive and well, as he told the Boston Herald,

"Dear Fans: GOD has Blessed me with a wonderful gift to share with all of you. For 53 years I have continued to master this gift, which heals the soul and warms hearts. Laughter! I thank you, the theatre staff (Wilbur Theatre), the event organizers and the Boston Community for your continued support and coming to experience family, fun entertainment. Hey, Hey, Hey - I'm Far From Finished."

The number of dates that Cosby has left to play on his calender for this year is dwindling because most venues refuse to even consider booking him because of the scandal that's following him. The shows that he has played are far from the sell-out crowd that he's used to regularly seeing. While he may insist that he's not finished yet, Cosby isn't in complete control of his career. Sure he can say yes or no to potential gigs, but if he's seen as more of a risk or liability then those offers aren't going to roll in like they always have.

Cosby has gone from being viewed as the beloved tv dad to a man that chooses to travel with a decoy so that he won't have to face the press and paparazzi on a daily basis. Is Cosby's career just about finished? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
