Muse is continuing to tease the release of its new album Drones, but don't expect the "Madness" band to be anything other than coy. In a recent post on its always cryptic Instagram account, Muse posted a photo with a drone, with a series of mysterious numbers that hint at a summer release date for its The 2nd Law follow-up.

The curious photo features a photo of a blue-grey drone, with Muse's name and signature logo on the side. The part that has fans wondering about a possible release date is a series of numbers on the tail: 0615.

Some fans believe that this means the album will be released on June 15, 2015, which falls in line with the band's summer timeline for its new record. Another popular theory on Instagram is that this means six days and 15 hours until Muse makes an official announcement about Drones. From the time of posting, that would mean an announcement is due to arrive on March 9 at 7 p.m. GMT.

But, Muse continued to be mum on Instagram, simply using the hashtag #MuseDrones to caption the image.

The mysterious number sequence on the drone photograph is just the latest teaser that Muse has made about Drones. Since joining Instagram in October 2014, Muse has been teasing the recording and release of its new album. Most recently, the band has posted some ominous album teasers, with their eyes blacked out on the cover of magazines, as studio footage plays in the background.
