Rich Homie Quan, real name Dequantes Lamar, has had a rough go of things lately and he only has himself to blame. In May a treasure trove of tracks were leaked from the Rich Gang archive, most of them unfinished demos that were never intended for release. As they spread on the Internet, unfortunately for Rich Homie Quan, two of the songs included lyrics discussing raping women. He apologized for the first track, "I Made It," but after the second song, "Day 1," the "Flex" rapper was left without much moral ground to stand on. He has attempted to apologize for the second track in a new interview for Billboard, saying that he was young and had no guidance in his life at the time.

"I do not condone or promote rape. I'm not a rapist," says Lamar. "That song was recorded in December 2012. I was young and just rapping. At the time, I had no guidance in my life. I blame it on that. So I apologize once more to my fans."

The line in question from "Day 1" comes from the hook, which means it can be heard throughout the track, "mansion full of b*tches, about to rape one (I'ma f*ck these hoes)."

The second apology is a bit different from the first as he shifts the blame away from the person who leaked the track to himself, likely in an attempt to make it seem a little more sincere.

"'I Made It' was never intended to be released. The song was not lyrically what I wanted to say and was not completed. Without my knowledge, there was a studio leak of the recording," Rich Homie Quan said at the time, though he also stated he did not condone rape.
