Earlier, we reported that Drake had a few choice words to say in his Rolling Stone interview about Macklemore's apology text to Kendrick Lamar after the Grammys. Now, we've come to find that this interview was supposed to be part of a larger cover story about the Toronto rapper. Instead of putting Drake on the cover, however, the magazine opted to feature an image of Philip Seymour Hoffman, who passed away earlier this month.

Drake revealed via Twitter that the cover was meant for him, and that he's pissed at RS for taking it away from him without warning. "[Rolling Stone] took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue, he wrote. "I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil."

He also posted a tweet suggesting that the publication either fabricated or took out of context his comment about Yeezus. "I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue."

According to Complex, the quote in question supposedly had Drake saying, "There were some real questionable bars on there. Like that 'Swaghili' line? Come on, man. Fabolous wouldn't say some sh*t like that."

Drake ended his brief Twitter rant saying he was going to boycott print publications. "I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."

Rolling Stone has yet to comment on the cover switch.
