Redemption of the Beast rapper DMX is apparently in trouble with the law yet again. After having many run-ins with the law over the course of his 20-plus-years-long career within hip-hop, it appears that his unwillingness to comply with a previous court ruling handed down by a judge has now resulted in him receiving six months behind bars.

The embroiled rapper, a.k.a. Earl Simmons, was jailed over unpaid child support as well as traffic violations according to People. Simmons had been arrested last month in New York City prior to taking the stage at Radio Music HallIt seems it would have been a rude awakening when he was handcuffed and carted off to jail. However, fast forward to present day and he has been sentenced to six months in jail behind "violation of certain court orders or conditions of bond in a family violence case". According to court records, the rapper currently has $400,000 in unpaid child support expenses.

Simmons is currently being held at Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo, NY. The rapper seemingly can't catch a break, as earlier this year the rapper was implicated in an alleged aggravated robbery of a New Jersey man who claims Simmons robbed him at gun point. However, no charges were ever filed in that incident.

The rapper's most serious offense with the law, that we are aware of, was in 2004 when he was taken into custody for attempting to steal a car at New York's Kennedy Airport.  However, he was subsequently only charged with fines and traffic violations.
