Close Your Eyes, hardcore Christian band, announced the album title for their upcoming album, 'Line In The Sand,' featuring new frontman, Sam Robinson, yesterday, July 23.

"We are very excited to finally be able to share with everyone that Sam Robinson is the vocalist of Close Your Eyes," said guitarist, Brett Callaway, according to a recent press release. "I'm already blown away by the new material that we have been working on - his voice is a very strong addition to the CYE family. He is an incredible vocalist and a great guy that shares our vision and purpose. We cannot wait for everyone to hear the new songs and to be back on tour again. Come hang out and say what's up to Sam!"

The new album is set to release in October, 2013, and the band will begin a European tour to promote the new album at the beginning of September. 'Lines In The Sand' will feature a live studio appearance by Cameron Webb, of Silverstein and Alkaline Trio. The album will feature two tracks pre-released as music videos, 'Carry You,' and 'Erie.'

'Lines In The Sand,' marks the band's third full-length album release, following their 2011 album, 'Empty Hands and Heavy Hearts.' Their previous albums featured lead vocalist, Shane Raymond, who decided to leave the band for health reasons in 2012.

Close Your Eyes, released their debut album, 'We Will Overcome,' in 2010 and have since become a powerful force in the hardcore scene. The texas-based band is inspired by their strong faith background, which fuel their lyrics. Although the band members are strong in their faith, they feel that it is important not to preach, but rather to simply be an example.

The band has performed at major Christian festivals such as Cornerstone and Sonshine. In addition, they have toured with big names like, A Day To Remember and Underoath. Recently, the band performed at the 2013 South By So What festival, in anticipation of the new season they were about to enter into with the addition of their new lead singer.
