Though we usually like to start off our mixtapes with new releases, we're too excited about the recent "Crazy in Love" remix from the Queen Bey' herself! This song was remixed for the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. While remixes are fun in their own right, one from Beyonce is sure to get the music world spinning. Check it out right here!
Another amazing remix popped up this past week, from none other than Drake! It seems like the rapper felt left out of the collaboration between The Weeknd and Kanye West, "Tell Your Friends," so he hopped on with his own lyrics in a new remix. While remixes are great in their own way, we also can't get enough of covers! This past week we saw a number of cool new takes on other tunes, and we'd love to share them with you. In her latest track entitled "Moonrise Kingdom," rapper/singer Angel Haze switches it up on fans by showing us all that she can take over the pop world. Speaking of pop music, Lana Del Rey this week premiered one of her favorite new tracks off her upcoming 2015 record Honeymoon, entitled "Music to Watch Boys to." Listen to the sultry songstress' newest tune right here:
Big Grams is the highly anticipated collaborative effort of Outcast rapper Big Boi and indie pop band Phantogram. This project's first EP hits stores later this month, but this week we were treated to its lead single, "Fell in the Sun." Listen to this great new song right here:
Synth-pop powerhouse band CHVRCHES can't slow down, it seems. After one of the biggest records of 2013 and non-stop touring, the Scottish trio is coming back strong with a slew of new tunes, including this week's "Clearest Blue." Have a listen right here:
"Cop and Go" is the latest song from Jack White's rock n' roll supergroup The Dead Weather. We haven't heard from them in a while, but this song is the best reintroduction we could've asked for. Have a listen right here:
