Kanye West may have already announced his new album Swish, but don't expect the follow-up to his 2013 LP Yeezus any time soon. In a new, lengthy interview with Vanity Fair that focuses on his fashion line, the "All Day" rapper briefly mentions his eighth studio album, and said that he's "not worried about the years.

Buzz surrounding the release of Swish launched again, when during his Yeezy season 2 show for ADIDAS, West debuted a new song "Fade." However, West didn't seem to indicate that meant that a campaign for Swish was set to begin - it was just a little treat for his fans.

"For the 40 theaters across the globe, for the kids that all went to see it in theaters, I thought they'd be happy to hear some new music," he said. "I've been doing that [making a new album] too. That's like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting. That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete. But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting."

When it comes to that two years, even that is not a definite time frame for West, who said that he's not so much worried about when Swish arrives but more of how it will sound when it does drop. "I'm not sure. I'm not worried about the years. I'm worried about the life and the body of work that I can put out while I'm breathing," he said.

And though Swish has taken on other forms and other names - including So Help Me God - West seemed intent on keeping his latest title... for now, at least.

"It's currently called Swish," he said. "I'm forgetting even what the last name of it was now."
