The Channel 5 documentary entitled Autopsy: The Last Hours of Amy Winehouse aired last night (Sept. 28) and it's the latest film aimed at discovering the true reasons behind her early death and supposed joining of the 27 Club.  She is portrayed by actress Kate Robinson in the new documentary. Her father Mitch Winehouse was infuriated and took to Twitter in order to slam both the documentary and those involved, particularly her former friend and hairdresser Alex Foden, calling the film itself "a disgrace."

While Mitch Winehouse is angry at everyone involved with the film, he is particularly infuriated with Foden, who served as one of the main resources for the documentary. It appears that he feels that this one is even worse than the Amy biopic released this summer (July. 3) and in a series of tweets a week prior to the film's release he urged the TV station to "leave my daughter alone." He also referred to the film as "exploitation" in another series of tweets after the special aired last night and he openly attacked Foden.

As reported by Gigwise, Alex Foden said during this latest documentary, "The last time I ever saw Amy, she was in a body bag. She didn't want to be fixed. She was happy the way things were. It was the only way she could escape the madness that was going on around her," and in a further surprising twist her father claims that she "hated him" and accuses Foden of taking Amy's money for rehab.

It is not the first time that her father has vehemently expressed disgust over media portrayals of his daughter. Mitch Winehouse's actions in both the singer's life and in the media after her death have been questionable and he was extremely vocal with his displeasure over the way her family life was presented in the Amy biopic. Her father even insisted that it be re-edited at one point. He argued that it was an inaccurate portrayal of her personal life, particularly a passage where it showed her spending Christmas alone.

According to NME, Mitch Winehouse claimed, "Amy being Amy, she didn't go to her mum. So my son Alex went over to her place so she wasn't on her own. We creates such a fuss over this that they took the scene out. It was not true and is extremely hurtful. That's just one example of how biased and slanted we think the film is." It appears that he believes this latest special to be even more exploitative.
