Jingle Ball 2015 kicks off in Dallas on December 1 and will continue until December 19 where it will see its last show of the month in Tampa. Names like One Direction, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Tove Lo, Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SoS) and more are surely the reason for the ticket sale rush and secondary market rising prices.

Capital One cardholders get exclusive access to the first batch of tickets, as a special pre-sale runs from October 6 at 10 a.m. local time until October 9 at 10 a.m., or until tickets are gone. The general on-sale doesn't begin until October 12, but re-sale tickets for Jingle Ball are a way to grab tickets without being a Capital One cardholder, although they are already pricey for many of the dates, including shows in major cities like Washington D.C., New York City and Los Angeles.

iHeartRadio's 2015 Jingle Ball series is scheduled to make stops in 11 major cities during the month of December, and the shows will feature a rotating lineup of some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Although the series won't begin for another two months, the most expensive show is already hugely over face-value price. The most expensive date for Jingle Ball is currently the December 12 concert (which features The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, Selena Gomez, and 5 Seconds of Summer), in New York City at Madison Square Garden. For that date, the average re-sale ticket is a whopping $1,024, with a get-in price of $307. The second most expensive date pales in comparison, and is currently the December 4 show in Los Angeles, where an average ticket is $308, with a get-in price of $94.

Despite the big prices in some cities, other dates have more affordable tickets available on the secondary market. A December 7 date in Minnesota, for example, currently has an average ticket price of $155, with a get-in of just $57.Last year's Jingle Ball series presented a similarly stacked roster of artists, including Taylor Swift, Pharrell, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor, Charli XCX and more. Re-sale tickets for 2014 averaged $369 for 2014 across all of the scheduled dates, with the New York City date also presenting the highest ticket average.
