Marshmello, the anonymous producer/DJ known for serving-up a s'more-like hybrid of trap-styled house and future bass while dressed as a huge fluffy marshmallow, has self-released his debut album titled Joytime. While the full-length has already garnered massive support--in a recent Facebook post the producer shared that the LP reached No. 1 on the iTunes top electronic albums chart shortly after dropping--the true identity of the masked musician remains a mystery.

We did it! #1 on iTunes top electronic albums on the first day. Wanted to have all our music up on all channels so I...

The new album includes "Keep It Mello," Marshmello's recent collaboration with Omar LinX, which Your EDM reports surpassed a million plays in just the past few days. Unfortunately, Joytime does not feature any previously unheard material, so it plays more like a greatest hits compilation to the dedicated follower, but no one's complaining about finally having all ten tracks in one place.

The artist behind the marshmallow head essentially went from 0 to 100 in only 10 months. He emerged onto the scene practically out of thin air with his debut track "WaVeZ" back in March and went on to spend the rest of 2015 dropping a number of remixes and original tracks that received high profile support and massive online hype, as well as performing alongside the biggest names in EDM at HARD Day of the Dead, Winter Wonderland and LED's OMFG NYE, EDM Sauce reports.

Following an official remix of the 2015-defining Jack U and Justin Bieber collaboration "Where Are U Now," the enigmatic artist gained even more attention with a guest mix on Diplo & Friends which aired on BBC Radio 1Xtra this past July. Diplo called it when he introduced the mix by declaring Marshmello "one of the most exciting young producers" and asserting "he's one to watch" in the mix's introduction.

The mix features a number of Marshmello originals that did not make it onto Joytime as well as others that did alongside a litany of bangers including DJ Snake's remix of iLoveMakonnen's "Club Goin Up On a Tuesday," Wave Racer's remix of Foster the People's "Best Friend" and Yacht Club's remix of Galantis' "Runaway (U & I)" among countless others.
