Adele's "Hello" has been, to say the least, completely ubiquitous. Anyone who claims they haven't caught themselves singing its infectious hook out loud, in public, is simply lying. However, few are as open about their affinity for the multi-platinum single as rapper Kevin Gates. Gates says Adele's newest single has become the "theme song to his life" in a new interview.

It is clear that Adele's soulful ballads are universal among a wide swatch of listeners. Clearly, her music transcends genre and has the ability to touch a wide array of music fans.

"That's the theme song to my life," the "I Don't Get Tired" rapper told the All Out Show on Sirius XM. "I got n***as doing life in prison, I'll never see them again. I got a uncle been [locked up] 17 years, I'll never see him again. I got women that I've been in relationships with that at the time I thought I was going to marry them. I will never talk to them again."

Gates continued, "This song is my life. It's a lot of s**t I will never see again, but I will think about the memories. I miss riding with my big brother in the car. He's dead. A n***a blew his brains out. I miss him. I'll never see him again, but hello from the other side cause I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be."

Gates is not the only one profoundly moved by Adele's material. The British singer, who already wowed fans with her Diamond certified album 21, which spawned mega-singles like "Rolling in the Deep. Now, her newest album, 25, has already sold 15 million copies and will likely go on to inspire fans for generations.

Kevin Gate's major label debut Islah is dropping on January 29th, according to XXL. The album has been preceded with the singles "ReallyReally," "La Familia," "The Truth," and "Two Phones."
