Bob Moses have been on the tips of many people's tongues from festival producers like Coachella, Sónar and Governors Ball and even a TV debut on Ellen. The "Tearing Me Up" pair made another debut on Friday evening for BBC Radio One's Essential Mix series and made the most of the opportunity.
The mix features some unreleased white labels from some of their friends and some new edits that one might hear in their sets and just here in this mix. It includes tracks from Session Victim, Brian Eno, Chrome Sparks, Four Tet, themselves and some local acts from their hometown, Vancouver.
"Making an Essential Mix not only gave us the opportunity to get excited about new music and showcase some of the tunes that are inspiring us lately but also to revisit our own sound and re-evaluate how we see ourselves among the musical landscape and where we might be going," said the duo before they stepped onto the figurative Essential Mix decks.
