Haitian-born and Montreal-raised producer and DJ Kaytranada has at last divulged some long-awaited details on his upcoming album now titled 99.9%. He also shared the release date and the first single "Bus Ride" featuring Detroit jazz musician Karriem Riggins.

Speaking to Benji B on BBC Radio 1 last night, Kaytranada talked about who he worked with on the album and a few features that will appear on the record.

Canadian group BadBadNotGood have two tracks on the LP of the 15 songs that they recorded together. There is another track with Syd tha Kyd from The Internet as well.

The album is called 99.9% because as he says "I am never satisfied with my album and I am very indecisive." Fans have been asking for this full-length over the past few years and the Montreal producer has been discussing for an equally long period of time so it makes sense that he would title the album this symbol of just barely incompleteness.

Riggins offers a nice assist on the sleepy and soulful cut "Bus Ride" that has the rhythm to match the title and sweet melodies to match its eventual spring release date. It is a straight instrumental, so easy to digest and a good sign of things to come from Kaytranada on this upcoming album.

99.9% will be released on May 6, a fact he confirmed on Twitter this afternoon, via XL Recordings.

Benji B will have an exclusive album preview on April 27, but until then listen to the interview and preview of "Bus Ride" below. Kaytranada wants fans to "stay tuned" because more is coming.
