Norwegian producer and DJ Lido has unveiled the music video to his new single "Crazy," the first from his upcoming and still-untitled album. The video finds Lido in the directing chair and as the lead actor, commanding a large array of lights and effects at his fingertips, with the help of his lighting designer Michael Sheck who brings the whole thing to reality.

The video features Lido as a conductor, manning a complex arrangement of various lights and LED rigs in a large room. The lights come alive as he points to them to the beat of "Crazy." When things slow down, there are more mellow blues and whites to match the mood, but as things start to build, more reds emerge until all of the lights are unleashed from all sides in one grand finale.

The track is one of the more complete songs we have heard from Lido. It has the soft, R&B influenced rhythms we know Lido to produce, but also upbeat, horn-filled euphoric crescendos. It also features Lido on vocals, which he distorts and autotunes throughout the track.

Speaking to Hypetrak, Lido reflected on the use of his voice, which was common in his early productions, but is making a return on this album. "I don't consider myself a vocalist, but my voice is definitely one of my instruments," he noted.

"Crazy" is a key moment in the album. He explains that the song is all part of the story he is trying to tell with this album.

"This song is an important turning-point in the story on my album. For me it's exactly the first impression I wanted to give people of the vibe from new music I'm about to release."
