All Eyez on Me, the highly anticipated biopic movie project about infamous rapper Tupac Shakur's life, has officially wrapped filming this week, and now we have a great first look of footage of the film's star, newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr., in action as the prolific artist.

Considering the film wrapped production just a few days ago, this clip is not the finished product and director Benny Boom is surely going to do some re-shoots and post-production work. But for now, this is a great taste of what's to come, and the biopic looks like it could be along the lines of Straight Outta Compton and other successful projects, as opposed to whatever happened with the Aaliyah movie.

Head over to The Smoking Section now to check out the quick clip of Shipp Jr. in character as Tupac Shakur for All Eyez on Me. This clip from the upcoming biopic is, of course, the widely publicized press interview with Shakur outside of the courthouse after his sexual assault trial back in 1994. You can watch the real Shakur, to compare the performance from Shipp Jr, right here:

If you want to get a better look at Shipp Jr. and his resemblance to the late, great Shakur, check out our previous coverage of the up-and-coming actor sharing photos from the set on his Instagram page, and marvel at the likeness!

September of 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of Shakur's unsolved murder, which could also hold the premiere of this biopic. We don't have a release date for All Eyez on Me just yet, but we're sure 2016 is the year it will hit theaters.
