The creators and producers of HBO's Game of Thrones have announced that a live concert tour featuring all of the songs from the television series will kick off in February next year. The tour, called Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, will be carried out by a full orchestra and led by Ramin Djawadi, the show's composer.

According to Billboard, Djawadi talked about the upcoming tour during an appearance at a fan event in Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium. According to the composer, he and the creators of the show have been working on the series of live concerts for some time now.

"It's been a couple of years in the planning," he told Billboard. "We really wanted to make it a special event. We wanted it to be an immersive experience so that when you're walking into the [arena], you are in Westeros."

Djawadi also noted that for the tour, he will be directing an orchestra composed of around 80 members as well as a choir. To give audience members a full experience of the upcoming shows, the performances will be held on a 360-degree stage equipped with wall screens and special 3D designs.

For David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the creators and executive producers of Game of Thrones, the Live Concert Experience is a way for the program to showcase Djawadi's talent and everything that he has done for the series.

"For seven years, Ramin has been blowing our mind with his music's force, subtlety and endless inventiveness, Benioff and Weiss said according to Rolling Stone. "The Concert Experience will be unique in the history of concert tours, an eye-popping, ear splitting, phantasmagoric blend of the show's visuals and Ramin's powerful compositions."

The first stop of the tour will be on Feb. 15 at Kansas City. Tickets for the show will be available through Live Nation starting this weekend.
